June 15, 1998 Jack Davies, Napa's Outsider By James Laube Jack Davies, who died in February at age 74, made a mark on Napa Valley and California wine. He and his wife, Jamie, revived the abandoned Jacob Schram property in Napa Valley, renaming it Schramsberg.
