January 31, 1998 Christie's Paul Bowker Leaves for New Career as Wine Broker Paul Bowker, the head of Christie's London wine department, says he's ready for a new professional challenge. The 35-year-old wine expert, who started his career at Christie's 13 years ago, is leaving the auction house to join London-based Bordeaux Index Ltd.
