
December 15, 1997 Public Television to Broadcast "Wine 101" On the popular television sitcom "Frasier," David Hyde Pierce plays the title character's brother, Niles, a wine snob. On "Wine 101," he will take a less sanctimonious approach as host of a new series about wine appreciation to be shown this winter on public television stations throughout the United States.
