December 15, 1997 Major League Baseball Collectors Edition Wine Bottles Released Wine--it's as American as baseball and mom's apple pie. At least, that's what Big League Bottling (BLB), a Chicago-based company, must have had in mind when it teamed up with Napa Valley's Maddalena Vineyards and Schramsberg Vineyards to offer a new line of limited-edition wine bottles celebrating America's national pastime.
