
December 15, 1997 New Catena Wines to Be Argentina's Priciest As wine prices around the world continue to accelerate, Argentina is joining the race. Bodegas Esmeralda is launching the new Catena Alta label with three wines that will retail for $40 to $50 per bottle--a 1994 Cabernet Sauvignon, a 1995 Chardonnay and a 1996 Malbec.
