
September 15, 1997 Grapevine Ray Charles and the Rhône wines of Michel Chapoutier turned a recent benefit concert for the Maryland School for the Blind, in Annapolis, into a rousing success. Chapoutier shipped a one-of-a-kind magnum of his new wine carrying a braille label to Charles after hearing about the event from his American distributor, Paterno Imports of Chicago.
