September 15, 1997 Gerard Jaboulet, Prominent Rhone Vintner, Dies at 55 Gerard Jaboulet, whose warm personality and astute business skills helped keep Paul Jaboulet Aîné, his family wine business, at the forefront of producers in France's Rhône Valley, died after suffering a heart attack on July 25.
