June 30, 1997 Julia Child Honored at AIWF Gala in Washington, D.C. Now in its eighth year, the American Institute of Wine & Food's Annual Rare Wine Auction set a fund-raising record in April, bringing in $107,500 in proceeds to benefit the organization's publications and educational programs.
