January 31, 1997 Napa Investor Group Hopes to Add Stags' Leap Winery to Its Portfolio Silverado Partners, which late in 1995 put together a deal to buy Beringer Wine Estates for $350 million, has signed a letter of intent to buy Carl Doumani's Stags' Leap Winery in Napa Valley.
