January 31, 1997 1996 Yearbook: White Burgundy A very good 1994 vintage, and even better prospects for 1995 By Per-Henrik Mansson More Californian than Burgundian in style, the 1994 vintage for white Burgundy produced many lush, succulent, low-acidity, ready-to-drink Chardonnays from the region's triumvirate of white wine regions: Mâconnais to the south; Côte de Beaune at the center; Chablis in the north.
