December 15, 1996 Rosemount Plans Big Cabernet Vineyard Rosemount Estate more than quadrupled its potential production of Cabernet Sauvignon from the Coonawarra district of Australia with the purchase in October of 272 acres on prized terra rossa soil, a red-brown clay loam.
