
November 15, 1996 Sherry-Lehmann With Sotheby's Bring in $1.9 Million Sherry-Lehmann with Sotheby's began its auction season with a $1.9 million sale in Manhattan on Sept. 28. "It was exceptionally strong," said Sherry-Lehmann chairman Michael Aaron, "our second-highest total ever, with 95 percent sold.
