
November 15, 1996 Grapevine * Korbel Champagne Cellars owner Gary Heck, in Guerneville, Calif., may soon control half of the famed Cabernet Sauvignon maker, Kenwood Vineyards. At press time a deal had yet to be formalized, but it looks as if Kenwood co-owner Martin Lee and a silent partner will sell him their 50 percent stake in the Sonoma Valley winery.
