
October 31, 1996 Grapevine * With a 72-acre purchase, Champenois Joseph Henriot has become the biggest vineyard owner in Burgundy's Côte d'Or. Henriot picked up premier cru vineyards in Meursault, Volnay, Monthelie, Pommard and Beaune plus grands crus Echézeaux and Clos Vougeot from Burgundy merchant and grower Ropiteau.
