May 15, 1996 Seagram Makes New Monterey County Wine The Seagram Classics Wine Co., producers of Sterling Vineyards, The Monterey Vineyard and Mumm Cuvée Napa wines, has released a new label called Tessera, featuring a 1994 Chardonnay (85, $9), a 1994 Cabernet Sauvignon ($9) and a 1994 Merlot ($9).
