April 30, 1996 On a wing, a prayer and dad's car By James Suckling From garage to château. That pretty much sums up the evolution of working for Wine Spectator. I haven't been around for all 20 years, but I have been with the magazine since December 1981 and it's sometimes hard to believe the changes we've been through.
