May 15, 1995 '94 Bordeaux Prices Jump as Vintners See Higher Quality Owners of major Bordeaux châteaus have decided that 1994 was a good-enough vintage to warrant higher prices for their wines. In mid-March they began offering 1994 futures at prices 4 to 16 percent higher than asked for 1993 futures.
