
May 15, 1995 Last Call Lunch With Burgundy's Latour By Per-Henrik Mansson Louis-Fabrice Latour had promised a simple lunch. It was casual, true, with cold cuts, salads, cheese and bread. But when I arrived with my colleague James Suckling at Maison Latour's Corton Grancey winery outside Beaune, we saw that Latour had also prepared a "little" tasting of white Burgundies, which would have cost $1,200 to buy in a wine shop.
