February 28, 1995 To Mask Or Not To Mask? By Jancis Robinson Should you serve wines blind at the dinner table? That is the delicate question of etiquette I wish to discuss with you in this column. I am prompted by a highly embarrassing experience last November, at a small dinner party we planned to welcome overseas contributors to The Oxford Companion to Wine [Editor's note: Edited by Robinson] who had come to London for its British launch the following day.
