
January 31, 1995 Harvest Report - Spain For the first time in 12 years a vintage in Spain's premier appellation, Rioja, is likely to be officially classified excellent. The 1994 harvests in the other key appellations, Ribera del Duero and Penedès, were called exceptional and very good respectively.
