Mystery Vintage What happened to the color and character in Burgundy's 1992s? By Per-Henrik Mansson and Harvey Steiman The word used in Burgundy to describe the '92 reds is "fragile." To their dismay, winemakers found that each little winemaking step seemed to rob their '92 reds of color, body and flavor.
