A Passion for German Riesling By Jeff Morgan Hal Ross first fell in love with wine during a trip down the Rhine River in 1966. When the former venture capitalist--now private investor--returned home to the United States looking for more German wines, a wine retailer told him he would eventually drink five Bordeaux for every German wine he bought.
