Architect Soo Chan combines purpose and elegance in his Singapore cellar

Architect Soo Chan coined the term "neo-tropical" to describe his style, and is known for blending indoor and outdoor spaces. When he first built his home, he left the basement unfinished. Years later, after having "practiced" by designing several wine cellars for clients, he constructed a cellar that perfectly expresses his personality both as an architect and as a wine drinker. Wine Spectator's Esther Mobley explains.
