Two cornerstone sagas in the troubled world of wine auctions drew to a qualified close in July and August when billionaire William Koch settled two longstanding lawsuits over consignments of allegedly fraudulent bottlings, and convicted wine counterfeiter Rudy Kurniawan was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison.
