If the French paradox is in fact true, one obvious implication is that it's possible to consume a diet rich in saturated fats and avoid cardiovascular disease, with wine a part of the dietary equation. But for now, despite our advancing knowledge, the question remains open. Wine Spectator's James Laube explains.
