Despite a tricky 2012 vintage in Germany, both sweet and dry styles excel

According To Wine Spectator's Kim Marcus, German vintners scored again in the most recent vintage on the market, 2012, delivering high quality Rieslings across the board. A majority of the year's highest-rated wines are in the sweet style, with luscious and unctuous eisweins and trockenbeerenauslesen representing the top bottlings.
