In 2010, Barolo witnessed something special. Northwestern Italy's leading wine region has enjoyed a string of fine vintages dating from the 1996 harvest, but 2010 just may be the finest yet. It combines the best qualities of these recent vintages—purity, elegance, balance and complexity, plus the ability to age. Wine Spectator's Bruce Sanderson explains.
