Carnivale du Vin Sets Live-Bid Record in New Orleans

The Emeril Lagasse Foundation's ninth annual Carnivale du Vin boasted an intimate venue, inspiring video footage of beneficiaries and a bevy of celebrity chefs. But it was the winemakers on hand who truly drove the auction's competitive energy, said foundation executive director Kristin Shannon. Their efforts paid off.
