Rick and Jane Theiler's Arizona cellar celebrates their history of making and collecting wine

The first thing you notice upon entering the wine cellar in Rick and Jane Theiler's home, located just outside of Phoenix, is the tile mosaic centered on the back wall. A retirement gift from their daughters, it depicts three bottles of wine, two red and one white, the latter chilling in an ice bucket. To learn the stories behind these three bottles is to understand the Theilers' 40-year journey through the world of wine. Wine Spectator's Esther Mobley explains.
