Auction of Washington Wines Stays Strong at 26th Annual Event

Outdoing a 25th anniversary celebration isn't always easy, but the 26th Auction of Washington Wines did exactly that on Aug. 17, increasing its live bids by 5 percent and raising approximately $2 million in net donations. The auction, which celebrates Washington wines exclusively, held its gala at the state's oldest winery, Chateau Ste. Michelle. Wine Spectator's Esther Mobley reports.
