Maison Louis Jadot, a large Burgundy-based négociant, has purchased a vineyard in Oregon's Willamette Valley and will produce Pinot Noir there beginning with the 2013 vintage. Jacques Lardière, who retired as Jadot's technical director in 2012 after holding the chief winemaking position for 42 years, will be the winemaker. Wine Spectator's Katherine Cole reports.
