French director Gilles Legrand stars St.-Emilion in his latest film

Inspired by the photogenic landscape of France's vineyards and the significance of wine in French culture, Legrand enlisted help from enological all-stars Laure Gasparotto and Stéphane Derenoncourt. Legrand sat down with Wine Spectator's editorial assistant Esther Mobley to discuss the genesis of the project, his affinity for Burgundy and the experience of filming at St.-Emilion's Château Clos Fourtet.
