Smaller Crowd, Bigger Bids for Sun Valley Wine Auction

Following three days of pig roasts, cocktail parties and dinners, the 32nd annual Sun Valley Wine Auction, held July 19 in Sun Valley, Idaho, raised a record-breaking $996,100 in live bids. Lower attendance and a carefully chosen catalog contributed to the intimate atmosphere at the Sun Valley Center for the Arts. Wine Spectator's Esther Mobley explains.
