Mandela Wines Launch in United States

Makaziwe Mandela and Tukwini Mandela—daughter and granddaughter, respectively, of former South Africa president and global icon Nelson Mandela—are hoping that their wine project will help further the evolution of their country's fine wine industry, so that more black South Africans can reap the benefits of its growth. The women visited the United States in February to introduce their House of Mandela Wines, launched in South Africa in 2010, to U.S. consumers. Wine Spectator's Lizzie Munro and Dana Nigro report.
