In Memoriam: David Taub, Tireless Promoter of Quality Wines and Frank Prial, A Pioneering Voice for Wine
David S. Taub, chairman and CEO of wine importer Palm Bay International, died Nov. 8 in Long Island, N.Y., following a long battle with kidney disease. Also, Frank J. Prial, the first wine columnist for The New York Times, died Nov. 6 in West Orange, N.J., from complications of prostate cancer. Wine Spectator's Mitch Frank and Thomas Matthews report.
