
Two things were instantly apparent when Wine Spectator senior editor James Laube led a panel of four winemakers to the stage for a seminar on Rhône-style reds grown in California. First, judging by the lineup of wines, this category has grown tremendously in recent years. Second, women have arrived in California winemaking and will be shaping the industry for years to come.
