
Accused wine counterfeiter Rudy Kurniawan, currently being held without bail at a federal detention facility in Brooklyn, N.Y., is working to have evidence of a home laboratory for fake wines excluded from his trial. Wine Spectator has learned that Kurniawan's lawyers will contest the legality of FBI agents' search of his home, which occurred after his arrest in a Los Angeles suburb last March.
