
Jacques Lardière may not be a household name, but Jadot is, and chances are you've had a wine he has made. Jadot produces a huge range of wines, from a raft of value bottlings in the Mâconnais and Beaujolais to some of the most highly regarded grands crus from the Côte d'Or. Fourteen years ago, one in five bottles of Burgundy on the market in the United States was from Jadot; today, the figure is closer to one in four. Wine Spectator's Jennifer Fiedler explains.
