Germany’s Lively 2010 Rieslings

A difficult vintage offers impressive quality and plenty of flavor

German Rieslings shine in the 2010 vintage despite many hurdles, emphasizing the consistently high quality these light and vibrant whites have achieved in the first decade of the millennium. It's been quite a run. All of the vintages since 2000 have rated outstanding or better (at least 90 points on the Wine Spectator 100-point scale), and 2010 ranks right in there. And the future shows no sign of a letdown.
