There are values, and then there are outstanding values. Among the more than 16,000 wines tasted by Wine Spectator editors in 2011, there are many highs and a few lows. But when it comes to defining the sweet spot of the highest quality for the lowest price, one criterion quickly rises to the top: a rating of an outstanding 90 points or higher on our 100-point scale.
