
Fans of pure-tasting white Burgundy should prepare to stock up. The best wines of the recently released 2008 vintage are the finest young whites from the region since the 2002 harvest. These are wines that crackle with acidity and are lean and taut, yet they have concentration and a mineral essence that lends a juicy, savory quality. Wine Spectator's Bruce Sanderson reports.
