
The French were not the first to bring chocolate to the Old World, but once they got ahold of it, they dedicated a lot of resources to getting the best raw materials and processing them well. France is as much associated with fine quality chocolate as any nation, and only a couple of others are in the running. Wine Spectator's Owen Dugan explains.
