Ambition and commitment fuel growth as 3,734 restaurants earn Wine Spectator awards in 2011

It doesn't take a Wine Spectator Grand Award to stir excitement around wine, though. This year, a record 833 restaurants earn the Best of Award of Excellence, which recognizes a wine list for having a thoughtful selection of 400 or more wines, with solid depth or superior breadth in at least one major wine-producing region.
