
There's no escaping the bones of the building," says Eleven Madison Park owner Danny Meyer, who first opened the restaurant in New York's Metropolitan Life North Building in 1998 as a neoclassical brasserie. Over the past five years, however, Meyer has created a sense of revival, using the building as a foundation to refine a food and wine program focused on the future.
