Rise of a grand wine program in New York

There's no escaping the bones of the building," says Eleven Madison Park owner Danny Meyer, who first opened the restaurant in New York's Metropolitan Life North Building in 1998 as a neoclassical brasserie. Over the past five years, however, Meyer has created a sense of revival, using the building as a foundation to refine a food and wine program focused on the future. Wine Spectator's Nathan Wesley reports.
