Defining Terroir
Try explaining terroir to a stranger. It can be as difficult as describing gravity to a 6-year-old. If you're lucky, you might get close. But you'll likely end up looking into a quizzical, childlike stare and realize there's a gap in communication and comprehension. Wine Spectator's James Laube explains.
