
In China, 2011 is officially the year of the hare, but it looks like the year of châteaus. Deals between Chinese companies and Bordeaux wineries have been popping up in quick succession. After years of swelling demand for Bordeaux among China's new wealthy class, Chinese firms have decided to go directly to the source, buying châteaus. Bordeaux is welcoming the outside investment, but any new relationship will have growing pains. Wine Spectator's Suzanne Mustacich reports.
