
The wines of Alsace can be a hard sell. If you tell a collector about a high quality, tiny-production California Cabernet that nobody else knows about, he'll trade his first-born child to get on the mailing list. Yet a similar offering from Alsace typically languishes on retail shelves or in restaurant cellars. The only silver lining? It's probably improving with age.
