Blackmailer Targets Burgundy

French police are holding an ex-convict accused of threatening to poison two of Burgundy's most famous vineyards, according to reports from directors at Domaine de la Romanée-Conti and Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé. After sending a series of threatening letters, the accused extortionist was arrested in a sting in late February as he tried to pick up a fake ransom.
