Best issue ever and wonderful article on Thomas Keller's setbacks and eventual triumphs. On March 16, 2002, my 27-year-old daughter and I, with two of her friends, dined at The French Laundry. (Not easy to do-I went in person two months in advance, at 9:50 a.m., to get reservations before the 10 a.m. phone blitz started).
