Miami Wine and Food Festival Turns Up the Heat

Florida's coldest winter in three decades failed to douse the conviviality at Miami's South Beach Wine & Food Festival, which sailed over attitudes of economic trepidation with dozens of enticements for gourmands and enophiles. Kicking off on Feb. 25, the four-day festival attracted some 50,000 food fans, according to Lee Brian Schrager, event organizer and a vice president of Southern Wine & Spirits of America.
